Our mate is not perfect and as much as we try, we can never change our mate. We must not expect perfection but instead use even the irritations as opportunities to see our own blind spots and foster personal growth.

I Promise to Listen and Communicate with Love

By must valuing every word our mate speaks as a window into his or her heart, we will learn to honor the opinions, feelings, needs and beliefs of our mate, creating security in our love to speak free and honestly.

I Promise to Serve You All the Days of My Life

We must fight all tendencies toward selfishness and focus on keeping our mate, his or her needs and his or her goals before us at all times. Using Christ as the perfect example, we must serve our mate willingly and wholeheartedly.
