Review:

Missing Witness is yet another exciting novel in Craig Parshall's ‘Chamber of Justice’ series. Will Chambers is back to unravel another seemingly unsolvable case. It is up to Will to prove that Isaac Joppa is innocent of piracy. The problem is, Joppa isn't around to testify because he died 300 years ago!

“Parshall's ability to weave his readers through simultaneous plot progressions with diverse characters is what keeps his books enjoyable. Of special interest is the character of Rev. Joppa, whose struggle with faith is easy to relate to. The treacherous Blackjack Morgan and his scheming crew add additional intrigue to the story. A few characters end up with less attention than we readers would have preferred, but like the other books in this series, Parshall delivers in the end.

“The continuing story of the relationship of Will Chambers and his wife Fiona deepens with the expectance of a child. Fiona is also helping Will solve the Joppa case. The development of their relationship is another strength in Parshall's storytelling. All the characters are well developed, and the page-turning episodes leave the reader wanting to know more about the plot. This novel's focus on the ways greed can corrupt people will make readers examine their own morals.

Missing Witness is appropriate for teenage readers and others older. Anyone who loves a good mystery or a pirate story will enjoy this book. It's great to know that this is part of a series because each book is a winner.” -- Jeremiah Larkin, Christian Book Previews.com
