Marcelo Bendahan 's Bio:
Captivated by Jerusalem's beauty, Marcello Bendahan spent much of 2007 and 2008 exploring the city with his camera in order to create Jerusalem Always.
Bendahan began his professional career in 1995 after graduating from the School of Communication of Madrid. Approached by the Performing Library of London, he spent five years taking pictures of London's fascinating musical scene. His work has appeared in BBC Music, the Daily Telegraph, the Sunday Times, and Gala Magazine.
In 2004, Bendahan published Amsterdam Always, a captivating photo album that portrays the city as it has never been seen before. The following year, he published Melilla Viva, which offers unique insight on this enclave in North Africa that has belonged to Spain for over 500 years. Bendahan lives in Amsterdam with his family.
Heidi J. Gleit (b. Philadelphia, U.S.) has lived in, studied, and written about Jerusalem intermittently since 1992. A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania's international relations program, she has served as the Tel Aviv correspondent for the Jerusalem Post, the foreign press liaison for the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and the house writer for the Interdisciplinary Center Herzliya. She currently resides in Tel Aviv and is the editor of Eretz Magazine, a bimonthly magazine which focuses on the history and culture of the Land of Israel.
