Dan Britton & Jimmy Page's Bio:
DAN BRITTON is the executive vice president of ministry programs for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA). As a native of Virginia, he attended St. Stephens High School where he captained the football and lacrosse teams, receiving all-conference and all-state honors in both sports. From there, he went to the University of Delaware to captain the Division I lacrosse team, where he was one of the team's leading scorers. He graduated with a degree in finance.
After being a first-round draft selection of the Professional Indoor Lacrosse League, he spent four years as a starter for the Baltimore Thunder. During his career, he earned a spot on the All-Star team and was nominated by his teammates for both the Service and Unsung Hero awards.
Dan has served on FCA staff since 1991. In his role with FCA at the National Support Center, he oversees the ministry advancement of FCA including Camps, Coaches Ministry, Campus Ministry, Community Ministry, International Ministry, Inner-City Ministry, Training, Sport-Specific Ministries and Resource Development. FCA has expanded to become the world's largest sports ministry reaching over two million people each year. FCA focuses on impacting the world for Christ through the influence of athletes and coaches.
As a communicator, he is a frequent speaker at schools, churches, conferences, camps, conventions and retreats. As a competitor, he still plays and coaches lacrosse and even enjoys running marathons. He and his wife Dawn live in Overland Park, Kansas, with their three children: Kallie, Abby and Elijah.
JIMMY PAGE serves as a Vice President of Field Ministry and the National Director of the Health & Fitness ministry for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA). Growing up in the snow-country of Rochester New York, he became a three-sport athlete in High School, playing soccer, basketball and baseball. He earned both academic and athletic honors. From there, he went on to graduate with two degrees from Virginia Tech – a Bachelors in Business Finance and a Masters in Sports Management.
For nearly twenty years, he has been a leader in the medical fitness industry, operating wellness facilities affiliated with Sinai Hospital and Johns Hopkins. During his career in wellness, he became a top industry presenter, speaking before international audiences. He also started a business consulting company called GreatLife Sport and Health, offering executive coaching, strategic planning, and operations analysis and management services to small and mid-sized businesses.
Jimmy currently hosts a daily radio segment and national podcast on iTunes called Fit Life Today, offering a blend of spiritual, mental, and physical health principles that promote abundant life.
Jimmy has been involved with FCA as a volunteer and supporter since 1989, and as a staff member since 2006. He first got started by leading the huddle on the Virginia Tech campus. In his current role, he oversees all aspects of ministry advancement in the Mid-Atlantic Region, including the state of Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, Virginia, and Washington, DC. And, he continues to provide leadership for national wellness initiatives. FCA focuses on impacting the world for Christ through the influence of athletes and coaches.
As a communicator, Jimmy is a frequent speaker at schools, churches, camps, and retreats and a trainer for corporate and non-profit organizations. He enjoys challenging people to transform their life, walk with Jesus, and influence others. He has a contagious enthusiasm and passion for life. As a lifelong competitor, Jimmy now enjoys coaching, cycling, and triathlons. He is married to his college sweetheart, Ivelisse, and they reside in Maryland with their four children: Jimmy, Jacob, John, and Gracie.
