Kevin Bowen's Bio:
Prior to the release of his first book, Wilís Bones, Kevin Bowen owned a health care consulting business, owned and operated a bed and breakfast, and managed several skilled nursing facilities. He has worked for an engineering firm, worked in a soup kitchen/shelter in Los Angeles County, and served as a missionary in India.
Since writing Wilís Bones, Kevin has spoken to groups ranging in size from two to twelve hundred and as diverse as a mystery club in Oregon, a public high school English class in Georgia, a senior citizens reading group in Arizona, and a college chapel service in Arkansas. He has also appeared on various radio and TV programs and done numerous book signing events around the country. Kevin thoroughly enjoys dialoguing with people, both those who agree and disagree with him, regarding issues of faith. He hopes his books will be effective tools in the spreading of the gospel.
Kevin's second novel, The Third Funeral, was released on August 15, 2003. His third novel, Faith, is scheduled for release in August 2004. His novels are also available in tape and CD format from Oasis Audio.
Kevin has a Master of Divinity from Fuller Seminary; a Master in Health Care Management from California State University, Los Angeles; and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Washington. He lives in the Victorian seaport of Port Townsend, Washington, with his wife, Ruth, their two children, three cats, and six ducks.
