Deborah M. Piccurelli's Bio:
Romantic suspense author, Deborah M. Piccurelli has been a voracious reader since childhood. It was not until after marriage and family that a deep desire to create stories of her own had surfaced. With a goal to glorify God through His gracious gift, Deborah hopes to impact the lives of her readers.
Deborah began writing in 1995. Early in 1996, an opportunity arose to enroll in the Writer’s Digest Novel Writer’s Workshop, and Deborah graduated in November of that year. A variation on the manuscript resulting from that endeavor has been adapted for film. Deborah’s first published novel, In the Midst of Deceit (Jireh Publishing Company), was released in March 2004. Two other novels are in the marketing process. Her current project, a suspense novel that reveals a true-life politically protected secret will be a labor of love.
She has been married for 26 years, and has two sons, ages 18 and 21. Her husband has been employed in various aspects of law enforcement for over 25 years, which provides a suitable resource for details of suspense in her novels. Deborah was employed for nine years with the county court system, six years as a legal secretary, and two years with a financial planner. This background has given her plenty of material to draw on for her writing. She now writes full-time.
Deborah considers being a published author an awesome blessing. She enjoys a ministry of helping aspiring writers in any way she can by sharing whatever knowledge she has gleaned about the business. She also assists her literary agent (and friend), Sheri Williams, with the review and submission process for other clients.
Currently, she lives with her husband and sons in Gloucester Township, New Jersey.
