Connie Glaser & Barbara Smalley's Bio:
Connie Glaser considers herself one of the luckiest people in the world. She loves what she does and feels fortunate to get paid to do it. Brought up in the Midwest, she received her BA and Master's Degree from the University of Michigan. After teaching in the Boston area for four years, she and her husband Tom headed South, seeking greener (and warmer!) pastures. Seduced by the beauty and exotic charm of Savannah, Georgia, they decided to make Savannah their home. Their two sons, Rusty and Max, (now 17 and 15), are both true Southerners - born and bred in Georgia. In 1990, while serving as a communications consultant to The University of Georgia, Connie met Barbara Smalley. Creative sparks and a powerful collaboration followed. They have now penned three successful books together.
Connie enjoys speaking to large groups and the opportunity to connect with her readers in person. She is a regularly featured guest on TV talk shows, and has appeared on The Today Show, Leeza, Good Day New York, CNN, and CNBC.
But of all her accomplishments, Connie considers her role as mother of two teen-aged sons her most satisfying (and challenging!) job. Connie now lives in Atlanta with Tom, her husband of 23 years, and Rusty and Max. In her spare time she enjoys hiking and tennis, and just plain chilling with her family.
