Hugh Ross's Bio:
HUGH ROSS EARNED A B.SC. IN PHYSICS FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF BRITISH Columbia and a Ph.D. in astronomy from the University of Toronto. For several years he continued his research on quasars and galaxies as a postdoctoral fellow at the California Institute of Technology. For 11 years he served as minister of evangelism at Sierra Madre Congregational Church (SMCC).

Since 1986 he has led Reasons To Believe, an institute founded to research and proclaim new reasons, especially from the frontiers of science, for faith in God and trust in His Word, the Bible. Over the years, Dr. Ross has given hundreds of Christian apologetics lectures, seminars, and courses, both in the United States and aabroad. His books include The Fingerprint of God, The Creator and the Cosmos, Creation and Time, The Genesis Question, and Beyond the Cosmos. He also coauthored Origins of Life, Lights in the Sky and Little Green Men, and The Genesis Debate. Dr. Ross lives in southern California with his wife, Kathy, and two sons and still serves on the pastoral team of SMCC.
