Terry Webb's Bio:
Terry Webb spent her youth behind the wheel of a Friendship Sloop, getting lost in the fog off the Maine coast. A former elementary school teacher, global missionary and current Marriage and Family/Addiction counselor, she combines her educational and couseling expertise to introduce children to those from other cultures or other centuries. She brings to her writing a unique understanding of people and cultures.
Mrs. Webb holds a doctorate in Marriage and Family/Addiction Intervention from the Theological University of America and a Master's in Eduction from the University of Pittsburgh. She also studied Biblical Studies and Ethics at the Trinity School for Ministry.
She is the founder of the Pittsburgh-based Conservation Consultants, Inc. and the GOAL Project (Global Outreach for developing Addiction Leadership). Both a published author and lecturer, Terry has seen her works translated into Russian and Romanian. Her other published works include Tree of Renewed Life, Healing: A Christian Mandate, and Healing: History and Hope. Her books for youth include: Imagine Pittsburgh When and How to be a Garbologist. Her articles have appeared in Charisma, Focus on the Family, The Lutheran, Adventist Review, Light & Life, On Target, and numerous newspapers and professional journals.
