Naomi Judd's Bio:
Naomi Judd became pregnant in her teens; was forced into an early abusive marriage, a divorce, and single motherhood in her twenties; lived on welfare and worked her way to earn an RN degree in her thirties; and, with her daughter Wynonna, realized the improbable fantasy of country music fame in her forties. Then, when it seemed as if she had everything to celebrate-including a loving husband and the success of both her beautiful daughters, Wynonna and Ashley-she was diagnosed with Hepatitis C, a potentially fatal chronic liver disease that forced her retirement. Today Naomi is cured of the virus, and is stronger than ever in body, mind and spirit. "The Star Next Door" now stays busy as a communicator and encourager, speaking at about 40 events every year.
