Cecil Murphey's Bio:
An award-winning and widely published writer, Murphey is the author or coauthor of 80 books (in such wide-ranging fields as health and fitness, motivation, travel, and inspiration). He has ghostwritten autobiographies for a number of celebrities, including singer B. J. Thomas, Franklin Graham, pianist Dino Karsanakas, Chick-fil-A founder S. Truett Cathy, ultra-marathon runner Stan Cottrell, and Dr. Ben Carson of John Hopkins Hospital. Gifted Hands, which Murphey cowrote with Dr. Ben Carson, has now sold more than a million copies. The companion volume, Think Big, has sold more than 400,000. Murphey, who resides in the Atlanta area, is a winner of the Golden Medallion Award (Evangelical Christian Publishers Association) and a three-time winner of the Author of the Year Award (Dixie Council of Authors and Journalists).
