Irving Hexham, Rost, Morehead's Bio:
Dr. Irving Hexham is professor of religious studies at the University of Calgary in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and a noted authority on world religions. Dr. Hexham is the author of seven books, including Understanding Cults and New Religions (with his wife Karla Poewe) and The Pocket Dictionary of Cults and New Religions. He has also edited twelve books and authored numerous articles for journals and books.
Rev. Stephen Rost is pastor of Grace Fellowship of Dixon in Dixon, California. Rev. Rost holds an M.Div. from Talbot School of Theology and an M.A. from Dallas Theological Seminary. He has been published in Christian History magazine, and he is an abstracter for Religious and Theological Abstracts. Rev. Rost has served as president of the Society for the Study of Alternative Religions study group in the Evangelical Theological Society and served on the board of directors for Evangelical Ministries to New Religions.
John W. Morehead II is associate director of Watchman Fellowship in Sacramento, California. Mr. Morehead is the cofounder and coeditor of Sacred Tribes: Journal of Christian Missions to New Religious Movements, an e-journal that focuses on missiological issues related to reaching adherents of new religions. He also served as guest editor for an issue of the International Journal of Frontier Missions that focused on missions to new religious movements. He is adjunct instructor in new religious movements, world religions, missions, and apologetics at Capital Bible College in Sacramento. He served on the board of directors for Evangelical Ministries to New Religions and has provided expertise to the Lausanne Committee for World Evangelization.
