Mark Tabb's Bio:
Mark Tabb began pursuing his full-time writing career in 2002 after 16 years of pastoring churches in three states. Today, in addition to writing, Mark is a volunteer firefighter and fire department chaplain. He and his wife, Valerie, have three daughters and attend Brandywine Community Church in Indiana. Mark grew up in Oklahoma and now lives in Knightstown, Indiana.
Mark has written more than one dozen books and co-authored several titles including Christian music artist Clay Crosse’s I Surrender All, major league baseball player Andy Pettitte’s Strike Zone and actor Stephen Baldwin’s yet to be released, The Unusual Suspect. His work has been published in Spanish, Korean, Indonesian, and German. CBA Marketplace said of his book, Out of the Whirlwind, “Tabb’s extraordinary study of God and human suffering deserves to become a classic.”
Mark’s road to publishing is driven by his desire to make a lasting difference in the lives of his readers. “I received an email from a displaced victim of Hurricane Katrina who came across Out of the Whirlwind in the local library,” he said recently. “She told me how God used my book to help her through the pain of losing everything. Her words both humbled me and confirmed why I write. Nothing thrills me more than to think that God can take these words I pound out on my keyboard in Indiana and touch a life I will never meet face to face.”
