Voddie Baucham's Bio:
Voddie Bauchamís journey to Christ and the gospel ministry was anything but usual. He was born in Los Angeles, California and raised by a single mom. He did not hear the gospel until his freshman year in college. It was there that He came to faith in Christ. As a student-athlete at Rice University, Voddie responded to Godís call on his life and entered the gospel ministry. As a result, he left Rice his senior year to pursue theological training at Houston Baptist University. He graduated from H.B.U. with B.A.ís in Christianity and Sociology. From there he earned a Masterís degree from Southwestern Seminary, and a Doctorate from Southeastern Seminary; he has done additional Post-graduate study at the University of Oxford, England.
Dr. Baucham has served on numerous church staffs and as an adjunct professor at The College of Biblical Studies in Houston, TX. Since founding Voddie Baucham Ministries in 1993, he has become one of the most sought-after young Bible teachers in America. From conferences and seminars to local church events, there is no limit to the ways in which God is using this man. Most recently, he has entered the world of writing with a book, Bible study and academic journal article all due out in the spring of 2004.
