A.J. Kiesling's Bio:
A. J. Kiesling has authored, co-authored, or ghost-written ten books including her most recent release, Jaded: Hope for Believers Who Have Given Up on Church, but not on God (Baker, March 2004), and the recent title, Soul Deep: Prayers & Promises for Cultivating Inner Beauty (Barbour, Nov. 2003). Since holding professional editorial titles with some of the Christian publishing most dynamic institutions, including Charisma Magazine, Christian Retailing, Creation House publishing, and iBelieve.com, Kiesling now works as an author, and freelance writer. Her skills are serviced to publishers such as Baker Book House, Jossey-Bass, Howard Publishing, Honor Books, Broadman & Holman, and others. Kiesling is also a regular contributing writer for the highly respected literary trade magazine, Publishers Weekly, reporting on the religion market.
She has served as a final-round judge in the fiction category of the annual Gold Medallion Book Awards, presented by the Evangelical Christian Publishers Association (ECPA), as well as a writing instructor for Christian Writers’ Institute and American Christian Writers conferences, specializing in the youth writing track. Kiesling holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Central Florida. She lives in Sanford, Florida, with her two children.
