Bob & Emilie Barnes's Bio:
Bob and Emilie Barnes have partnered in the highly successful More Hours in My Day Ministries for more than 25 years. While Bob oversees administrative duties, Emilie has taught women creative ways to get organized and, for the last seven years, has shared her personal journey through life-threatening cancer, recovery, and beyond.
Emilie speaks to women across the United States and Canada, sharing her testimony of faith and encouraging them to seek God through study of His Word. While undergoing treatment for non-hodgkins lymphoma, she wrote Safe in the Fatherís Hands and A Cup of Hope. Following a bone-marrow transplant, her story of hope, healing, and Godís amazing faithfulness is told in A Journey Through Cancer.
With an M.A. in education, Bob taught elementary and junior high school students in Southern California before serving as a school principal. He also worked for 14 years as vice president of a mobile home and factory-built housing corporation before deciding to pursue full-time ministry in 1982.
Emilie is listed in 100 Christian Women Who Changed the 20th Century (Revell). She and Bob are enthusiastic media guests who have shared practical insights and personal experiences on hundreds of radio and television programs, such as The 700 Club, Focus on the Family, FamilyLife, Trinity Broadcasting Network, and Moody Broadcasting Network.
Bob and Emilie live in Newport Beach, California where they enjoy spending time with their two grown children and five grandchildren.
