Dr. Ray Pritchard passionately shares the gospel with others as a dynamic minister and learned teacher. A well-respected speaker and author, his messages challenge and inspire audiences around the world. Under Pritchardís tutelage as senior pastor, Calvary Memorial Church in Oak Park, Illinois has grown from a 575-member congregation in 1989 to 1400 people attending today. He participates in many inter-faith events and is recognized as a spiritual leader in the greater Chicago area.

In his new book, The Healing Power of Forgiveness, Pritchard invites people to experience the personal freedom that results from letting go of the past. Relationships can be renewed and intimacy with God developed through this life-changing exploration of the purpose of forgiveness, how it is given and received, and how it brings release from anger and bitterness. Pritchard explains why approaching the other person for forgiveness isnít always necessary and answers pressing questions such as How do I know when I have truly forgiven? What about the anger that keeps coming back? and What if I can forgive but canít forget?
In 2000, the Committee on Evangelical Unity in the Gospel commissioned Pritchard to write a simple tool to help seekers find the Lord. The result, An Anchor for the Soul, sold 60,000 copies in the first six months and 14,000 were donated as part of the New York City relief effort after the 2001 terrorist attacks. Today, more than 350,000 copies are in print.
