Joe Dallas's Bio:
Joe Dallas is the program director of Genesis Counseling in Tustin, California, a Christian counseling service that helps men deal with sexual addiction, homosexuality, and other sexual/relational problems.

A member of the American Association of Christian Counselors, former president of Exodus International, and a highly sought-after speaker, he addresses audiences across the country at conferences, churches, and universities. Dallas is now directing a monthly five-day men’s national retreat seminar on sexual purity and is a featured speaker with the Focus on the Family “Love Won Out” conferences. He is the author of several books on human sexuality from the Christian perspective, including Desires in Conflict and A Strong Delusion (Harvest House), and has served as a contributing editor on a number of other books.

In his newest release, When Homosexuality Hits Home, Dallas offers straightforward counsel on how to work through the many conflicts and emotions experienced when a family member declares they are gay. Practical instruction is given on how to maintain a balance between compassion and conviction, probable causes of sexual orientation, and how to strengthen—not weaken— the relationship with their loved one. Insight is also shared on the struggles people face as a result of feeling “different.”

Dallas was featured on the cover of Christianity Today Magazine (June 1992) and has had articles published in the Journal of the Christian Association of Psychological Studies, The Christian Research Journal, and The Southern California Christian Times. His work has also been featured in the Los Angeles Times, Moody Monthly, New Man Magazine, and The Boston Globe.

Keynote speaking engagements have taken Dallas to Promise Keepers, Moody Bible Church, Princeton Theological Seminary, The Christian Association for Professional Studies, American Association of Christian Counselors, and Exodus North America. He has also lectured and debated in Norway, Denmark, Amsterdam, Hong Kong, and Geneva.

The Christian viewpoint has been represented by Dallas on national radio and television appearances, including the ABC Evening News, The Joan Rivers Show, Bible Answer Man, The 700 Club, Jay Sekalow Live, and Concerned Women for America.

Dallas and his wife, Renee, reside in Southern California with their two sons.
